When and Where to Watch GTA 6: An Extended Look
Rockstar’s next GTA 6 presentation has a date, two release times and an unusual six-hour gap between them. Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look premieres first on Netflix on August 27, before becoming freely available through YouTube and Rockstar’s website.
Netflix subscribers can watch from 12pm Pacific, 3pm Eastern, 8pm in the UK or 9pm in Central Europe. A reminder can already be activated through the programme’s Netflix listing.
Everyone without Netflix can watch later through Rockstar’s official channels. The free version arrives at 6pm Pacific and 9pm Eastern on August 27, which converts to 2am in the UK and 3am in Central Europe on August 28.

The presentation should remain available after its premiere, so there is no need to watch live. Fans trying to avoid spoilers, screenshots or clips may have a more difficult six hours if they decide to wait for YouTube.
Is It GTA 6 Trailer 3?
Rockstar has not called the presentation Trailer 3. The official name is Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, and its Netflix description promises a broader look at the next evolution of the series.
That could mean a longer trailer, narrated gameplay or a showcase divided into several sections. Rockstar has not revealed the runtime, presenters or exact contents, leaving the format open to interpretation.
The safest expectation is new GTA 6 footage with more detail than a conventional trailer. Proper gameplay is possible and increasingly likely this close to launch, but it has not been guaranteed.
What to Watch for During the Presentation
Jason and Lucia will remain the obvious focus, particularly how the game moves between their individual stories and shared criminal life. Trailer 2 established their relationship, but it did not explain whether switching between them will resemble GTA 5’s three-character system.
The open world deserves equal attention. Rockstar has named several areas outside Vice City, but players still do not know how those regions connect, how long travel takes or how much activity exists beyond the main urban center.
Smaller details may reveal just as much. Changes to the wanted system, vehicle damage, NPC reactions, weapon carrying, interiors and businesses could offer the first clear sense of how GTA 6 differs from GTA 5 during ordinary play.
The Timing Is No Accident
The presentation arrives less than three months before GTA 6 launches on November 19. Preorders are already open, meaning Rockstar is no longer introducing a distant project but selling a game that will soon be in players’ hands.
That places more pressure on this showcase than either of the first two trailers faced. Fans want fewer cinematic hints and more concrete answers about gameplay, performance and the structure of Leonida.
Whether watching six hours early on Netflix or waiting for the free YouTube release, August 27 will be the next major date in the GTA 6 calendar.
