GTA 6: Leak Appears to Confirm Another Actor
Another day brings forth more Grand Theft Auto VI rumors, but could this one hold significant weight?
A recent leak seemingly verifies the involvement of another actor in Rockstar Games’ next major release. In May 2023, an actor thought to be portraying one of the two primary characters hinted at something, stirring excitement amongst fans. Now, it appears that another actor, Reggie Talley (known for his roles in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Power Book III: Raising Kanan), might have unintentionally disclosed his participation in GTA VI, as stated in his resume, according to ComicBook.
While Talley’s resume might not appear revealing initially, the mention of ‘Fireball’ has piqued the interest of many. Several speculations have arisen around Grand Theft Auto VI, and the codename ‘Fireball’ has emerged on multiple occasions, sparking the belief that it refers to the highly anticipated Rockstar Games title.
Allegedly, Talley’s resume mentions his work on a game codenamed ‘Fireball’, with the “real title” marked as “to be determined.” Furthermore, ComicBook reports that other actors have used ‘Fireball’ in their resumes, connected to an undisclosed Rockstar Games project.
Although ‘Fireball’ may not be linked to Grand Theft Auto VI, it is unlikely for Rockstar Games to focus on any other project, given that they have reportedly canceled remasters of Red Dead Redemption and GTA IV to concentrate on GTA VI development.
While it’s no secret that Rockstar Games is working on GTA VI, perhaps the codename is intentionally used to maintain confidentiality regarding the game’s cast.
As it stands, the release date for the next Rockstar Games title remains uncertain, but rumors suggest it could be between 2024 and 2025. Notwithstanding, fans eagerly await a GTA VI gameplay and release date announcement. Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
